Maker Labs combine a range of skills and topics into a highly interactive, hands-on monthly program for youth in Grades 1-6. Participants can attend up to two sessions per week for their grade level. Workshops are designed to introduce youth to many creative processes and their real world applications.
During each class, students imagine, plan, communicate, and then create. Through this model, students develop presentation skills, learn to work as a team, and learn to problem solve. Topics covered include, but are not limited to:

COMING SOON! Open Make Days
Open Make Day is an opportunity for 3rd thru 6th graders to develop self-guided projects with the help of the NanoLab coaches. We provide tools, materials, and our expertise so that youth can explore their ideas and create their own challenges. Students are mentored through a process of brainstorming, prototyping, and planning, to complete a project of their own design. * For Open Make Day, there is a limit to 10 participants and we ask that participants commit to all Fridays in the month to accommodate longer, more intense projects. *
