Mini Makers

Mini Makers is an after-school program focused on introducing young makers to the exciting intersection of art, technology, and making. This program allows elementary-aged youth to explore, build, learn, solve, and most importantly, grow as a maker.

Mini Makers imagine, plan, communicate, then create original projects from stop-motion animation to Minecraft, Scratch-based video games, upcycling, 3D printing, laser-cutting, and more.

IMPORTANT CHANGE: This year, our Mini Makers courses will run for a full trimester (14 weeks), instead of the previous 7 week courses. Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday classes will be the same, so please only sign up for one or the other. Each course will cover a variety of topics.

Mini Makers is a program for youth in grades 3-5. Courses meet twice per week, either Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesdays & Thursdays, from 4pm-6pm. We are happy to offer this program as a Pay What You Can offering. Our doors open at 3pm and a hot meal is provided for participating youth. Pickup is provided for Federal Hill Prep students.
